In My Spare Time

My spare time is immersed in the history of beer, trolling Ebay for Breweriana, searching out breweries and taprooms, and attending craft beer dinners.  I no longer reach for the familiar bottle, but make a point of buying something new and different on every occasion.  I’m compelled to find a hop farm and learn about its idiosyncrasies, and I’m flirting with crafting my own beer. Every day seems to stir a new compulsion and All Over Beer will attempt to trace my path.

I’m not an expert in the field, but simply a novice looking to share my enthusiasm for the beverage, its history, and culture.  Although the web is already filled with quality beer blogs, Craft Beer can always use another voice to espouse its cause, illustrate the movement, and maybe I’ll offer a fun or interesting perspective on the field. Since I reside in the Bay Area my posts will primarily cover this region, but I’ll travel beyond California on occasion and share these experiences as well. Thanks for joining me.
